Going to Iran, I wondered what it would be like to live and behave according to strict and completely different cultural rules and codes. It was not very easy, especially when you constantly carry a camera, since I always wanted to respect other people's feelings, even if I did not understand them. But it is a friendly place, with a special dignity and pride of an old civilisation, conservative in some places and ready for change in others.
